Nolan Downey began his tattoo apprenticeship at Unknown Tattoo Co. under the guidance of Travis Broyles in 2023. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Nolan has always been surrounded by creativity, art, and a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, which naturally led him to tattooing. He has a deep interest in tattoo history and traditions, and he takes pride in learning not only the technical side of tattooing, but also the culture and artistry behind it.
Nolan is currently continuing to develop his skills in tattooing, design, and drawing, and has recently completed some of his first tattoos. He is now taking clients on a very limited, select basis as part of his apprenticeship. These appointments are offered at extremely discounted apprentice rates, making it a great opportunity for those looking to support a growing artist.
